“The Embodied Awareness day long actually was very similar to what I hoped it would be. One of my favorite things was lying on my back, looking through that magnificent skylight, and watching clouds literally zoom across the sky. The clouds for me represented the “thousand and one things” that pull us off center and steal our peace. They also symbolized the freedom of spirit to soar and float on the wind. Kind of paradoxical, but that’s what I like. The retreat reminded me that Silence gives me shelter from the storms of the world. If I embrace it frequently, it opens its arms and enfolds me with protection and love.”

“Need critically important and authentic guidance? You will almost surely find it in Toi Lynn Wyle. As a product of profound inner change, I left behind a career I excelled at for years. I was left in the void, unsure of what would take its place. Enter Toi Lynn: My fears were no match for her clear understanding of them. She confidently teased out and mirrored back to me what direction I knew I needed to go. She remained unfailingly present throughout our process together. Her ongoing support also included many helpful resources to investigate.
If you are in a place of profound uncertainty, or simply desire a capable partner for healing, Toi Lynn Wyle has the chops.”

“Toi Lynn is a truly masterful yoga teacher. It’s been my extreme good fortune to have begun my yoga practice under her guidance, and attending her yin and flow classes are the highlights of each week. Her teaching is transformational on so many levels. She encourages her students to cultivate curiosity, depth, joy, and honesty on the mat; all of which flow naturally into all aspects of my life. I also appreciate the fact that Toi Lnn has a solid understanding of yoga anatomy and teaches wisely and safely; always encouraging us to stay present in our bodies, in each asana, and move in and out of each with focus and intention.
Because of Toi Lynn’s love of yoga and commitment to her students, I know what it means to be part of a sangha, a community. A recent example happened just after the new year, when there were many new students in yin class. There was a lot of talking, restlessness, students coming in at the last minute, and I started to tense up. But then, I remembered it was a safe place, a precious time, another opportunity to be on my mat, in my body, in the community. Toi Lynn acknowledged the agitation in the room and calmly set about to ground us. As if by magic, the class came together, and when it came time for our opening “Om”, it resonated with incredible unity and beauty. I loved hearing her blissful sigh when the last notes faded into silence. It is testimony to Toi Lynn’s evolved teaching that she is able to weave such a diverse group of students into a harmonious group. Every class is a gift, ending with gratitude (and often a poem as a beautiful send off). Thank you, Toi Lynn!”

“My intention for the Embodied Awareness Retreat was to be in the moment…although I recall integration came up for me. My hope was that I would have a day of disconnect from the electronic world and the needs of my family. I had no expectations. I am always amazed that one can take a short drive and be in a completely different environment. My mind still holds the picture of getting out of my car in a snow dusted hidden valley.
The major take away for me was how challenging being in the moment is when not on retreat. My favorite experiences were outdoors. I walked in two different directions and found myself drawn to the sound of rushing water. I found my way to the bank of the creek where the water was still. Connecting to that stillness increased my awareness of how often I am in the center of the rushing stream trying to figure out where I am going, and how grateful I am for moments of stillness. Then walking on the winding trail and questioning what was at the end and recognizing that I was not present for the journey while thinking about the destination. With all the changes in my life in the last year or so, I have become increasingly aware of how the destination has been my focus, rather than the journey itself. I have spent alot of time trying to figure out what it is I am supposed to do, looking for answers by doing what I think I am supposed to be doing, and feeling angry or fearful of the unknown destination, and in the process missing the moments and the blessings. I am and will always be a work in progress.”

“I enlisted Toi Lynn as a remote guidess to aide me in navigating the strangest terrain I’d ever encountered; aiding me to stand confident & move forward when I’ve been completely out of my element; reminding me of my fundamental strengths and offering support, resources, and skills as I forge my own path. I’ve not only traversed the mountain that lay before me, but I’m bush-whacking a pathway uniquely my own – and homesteading as I lay trail! And, I’m learning more about my strengths and how I navigate the world along the way.
Toi Lynn Wyle is a tremendous resource. Wise, compassionate, intuitive and real… the best compatriot one could align themselves with to succeed!”

“It’s profound to write about my journey because at one time I never believed it would actually happen. A few years ago I was unfulfilled in my career and personal life. I had ignored things that I was passionate about achieving. After the first few sessions working with Toi, she helped me understand the sources of my limitations and clear them out. Her compassion and experience in life coaching and psychotherapy aided me in discovering I had the courage, talent and knowledge to change my present situation and to design my future. I am so thankful! My journey was guided, realized and indeed blessed by working with Toi.”
Originally from California, I am now living my dream in Europe, have a great career and a love story too.

“Working with Toi Lynn was one of the kindest gifts I have ever given myself. Through breath and body work, coaching and talk therapy I was able to move beyond my fear, lack of self-acceptance, self-denial and (yes, it’s true) my conditioned self hatred to a place of compassion, willingness and joy. This work has completely altered my approach to my life. I am happy to say I am moving in a positive, hopeful direction and am enthusiastically developing the life path and career I have always wanted.
Toi Lynn is wonderful to work with. Besides being very knowledgeable, she is very intuitive and knows when to push, when to pull back and when to just let a much-needed silence happen. She is like the coach I always wanted, but didn’t seem able to find, providing me with support and guidance as I went through this often scary journey. Ultimately, she gave me the greatest gift of all by helping me realize I can be, indeed must be, my own coach, my own ally, my own adviser and my own best friend. Of course I can (and should!) ask others for help. But in the end the next step, the next choice, is always mine. It is the only way.”

“The Bliss workshop came at a time in my life when I was experiencing a personal loss that was consuming me. With the loving support and guidance of Toi Lynn, I was able to begin my healing journey and feel the pain in my body begin to melt away. I am grateful for every moment of yoga practice and the Bliss workshop was a reminder that the road to healing of the mind, body, and spirit is through patience and allowing myself to be. Shanti (Peace).”

“Toi Lynn helped me lose the last few pounds I was keeping on, by uncovering what they meant to me. She showed me ways to let go of the weight instead of hiding behind it. Using Toi Lynn’s calming breathwork and reprogramming of internal dialogue, I was able to achieve my goals and discovered how to open my heart to let in more joy. Glorious!”

“I have been practicing Clarity Breathwork and other modalities with Toi Lynn for over two and a half years. Toi Lynn’s demeanor is uplifting, her approach gentle and firm, and her extensive experience as a Clarity Breathworker, an MFT, coach, career counselor, expressive arts therapist, and yoga teacher contribute to her wise and compassionate responses in our work together. In our Clarity Breathwork sessions, Toi Lynn’s ability to truly move out of the way and hold space for the vast range of emotions that have surfaced for me is extraordinary, providing a safe container to explore feelings and a mirror with which to see myself in again and again.
In our breathwork sessions, I have been gently and safely guided to return to the breath and explore limiting beliefs. At times imagery was helpful as well as conducting sessions in the water, allowing for an even deeper experience. By returning to the breathing process and allowing emotions the space to flow through, I find myself moving more and more towards ease and away from struggle, and for me that means more joy.
Toi Lynn’s integrity, warm and nurturing nature, honest and authentic communication, ability to see and point out the positive in me, willingness to self-disclose when appropriate, humility, and playfulness have made my time working with her remarkable.”
“While attending Toi Lynn’s restorative yoga class, one is transformed into a state of calm and acceptance. Her presence in the room is that of pure, unconditional love for each and every one of her students. She cares about how you are receiving the poses – and also encourages one to express when there is any type of discomfort that he/she is experiencing. Her emphasis is that of moving the body in a nurturing manner, being sure to remind us of the importance of breath. The beginning of the class is started with a setting of intention which is shared by an Om……And the class ends with a recital of a poem which has inspired Toi Lynn for that day. She is a gift and a blessing to us all.”

“Truthfully, I was skeptical when first embarking on breathwork therapy. I had heard of it before but just wasn’t sure it was going to work for me. However, after just one session with Toi Lynn, I was ready to give it a try. Toi Lynn made me instantly feel at ease, like I had finally met someone who understood where I was coming from and how to deal with the issues I had been grappling with. My first breathwork session started off a bit awkward, but once I let myself go and really let it work, I was transformed to depths I didn’t even know existed. I was able to say goodbye to issues I’d spent years agonizing over. Decisions suddenly became more clear, obstacles were illuminated and I emerged from each session feeling renewed and rejuvenated.
One specific issue I’d been struggling with had to do with my career and life path. I had been unhappy in my job for years and wanted to pursue graduate school but was too scared to really make a change. After a remarkably successful therapy session with Toi Lynn, I was able to push aside my obstacles and pursue both a new job and graduate school (both of which I’m now happily immersed in). I truly believe that without Toi Lynn’s insight and guidance, I wouldn’t be where I am today. She tells me that it was inside of me the whole time, which might be true, but Toi Lynn was the one who provided the key I needed to break through.”

“When I first met Toi Lynn, I was struck by her loving presence and warm smile. She knows intuitively how to correct my poses and does it gently. She encourages her students to be in tune with their bodies and to practice ahimsa, doing “no harm” to themselves. Toi Lynn often ends her classes with inspirational readings from Hafiz, Mary Oliver, or Kafka; inevitably I feel more relaxed and content.”

“Toi Lynn has been an invaluable support and guide for me as I continued my therapeutic training. She has guided and encouraged me through an often challenging process of school and licensure by sharing her experience and helping me clarify my goals and aspirations. Her grounded approach combined with a healthy appreciation of each person’s hopes for the future inspire and motivate her students and clients.”
